You are invited to join us FRIDAY at the optional packet pickup where we will be featuring our self-defense demo, created by our friends at KravPro Training Center.  Drop in and pickup your packet to save time on race morning, and stay a bit to learn how to better protect yourself while running.

13.1 RACE:

6:00AM - 6:45AM - race morning packet pickup at pavilion by Start/Finish

7:00AM - 13.1 race start

 

5K & 10K RACE:

7:15AM - 7:45AM - race morning packet pickup at pavilion by Start/Finish

8:00AM - 10K / 5K race start

 

10:00AM - Special Recognition for top 3 females in each distance & raffle 

 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

-Enter Tribble Mill Park from New Hope Road

-You are now on Tribble Mill Parkway

-Follow this road over the bridge and proceed to a four way intersection

-(You will see a sign in front of you that says Ozoro Meadows)

-TURN RIGHT here

-Proceed down the hill and you will see a parking lot ahead of you, and to your left.

There is ample amount of parking space, so feel free to park anywhere!

 

-The race Start/Finish for each distance is just beyond the playground & bathrooms and down the hill. Race day check-in is at the Holly Pavilion.

Tribble Mill Park - Ozora Meadows

Route description: The 13.1 mile route begins at Tribble Mill Park. Around .4 miles, the route veers right to traverse the Harris Greenway which connects to Harbins Park. A crossing guard will assist runners across Callie Still Rd. Along the way you will pass Archer High School and several neighborhoods along the road before you enter the quiet of the forest again while running on the greenway. The route continues into Harbins Park and then turns back around at an intersection (there will be someone there directing you). From here you will return back towards the front of Harbins Park where you will then pass the playground, access to water, and bathrooms. (This is a great spot for friends and family to cheer you on!) Then you will return to the Greenway, and make your way back to Tribble Mill. Once you return to Tribble Mill, you will complete the lake loop before arriving back to the Finish Line! The route does have a lot of hills, but it also has a lot of fun downhills to make up for it! 
 
-You will pass a hydration station 4 times during your run and they will have water & electrolytes
-The route will be marked with signs, directional arrows, and chalk on the pavement, you will also be directed by race staff
-The route crosses a road, and you will be assisted by a crossing guard
-The route also crosses in front of a neighborhood road that is NOT assisted by crossing guards, so please be alert, and proceed with caution!
-The time limit to complete the 13.1 route is 5 hours
-Medals will only be given to official finishers
-Be sure you snap a photo of your finish and share with us @SheWolfRaces so we can give you a shoutout on social!
-Extra shirts, hoodies, etc if available can be purchased via cash or venmo

Route description: The 10K & 5K routes begins at Tribble Mill Park. Around .4 miles, the routes veer right towards the Harris Greenway Trail which connects to Harbins Park. 
 
Before reaching Callie Still Road, the 5k ONLY will be turned around to return down the hill, and will then proceed RIGHT to run on the lake loop to return to the Start / Finish. 
 
The 10k ONLY will continue across Callie Still Rd (assisted by a crossing guard) and will run by Archer High School and several other neighborhoods along the road before briefly entering the forest via the Greenway. Runners will then be directed to turnaround and proceed back to Tribble Mill Park. After runners return to Tribble Mill Park, they will take the Harris Greenway Trail back towards the Lake Loop Trail, and turn RIGHT to complete the lake loop and return to the Start/ Finish Line.

13.1 VIRTUAL RUN DETAILS
You have between September 1st & October 9th to submit your run!

Many of you wanted to join us in person, but just couldn't make it. We are so grateful you decided to show your support in this way! Please use the following guidelines when running your 13.1 route:
 
-Run or Walk must be 13.1 miles and completed at once (i.e.: not 13.1 miles accumulated over a week)
-Run or Walk may take place anywhere, any time, and on any terrain (even a treadmill!)

-Run or Walk must be completed within the 5 hour cutoff 

-Medals and Shirts will be mailed out after your results are submitted

-Results will be listed on our website under Virtual 13.1 Official Finishers

-Send us any photos or stories of your run you'd like us to share so we can congratulate you and celebrate your accomplishment!

 

The footage from the self-defense demo will be shared the week after the race. We encourage you to watch it to better prepare yourself to stay safe while you adventure outdoors!

 
 
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES & RULES:
 

  • Race results will be listed live upon completion of race

  • We will have a photo area set up for you to take pictures before and after your race. After you finish your race, please clear the finish line area to make room for other runners coming in.

  • If you know you cannot make it to the race, you can email us to let us know

  • If you'd like to transition from the 13.1 to 13.1 VIRTUAL run, simply shoot us an email before Friday at 2pm

  • Friends and family waiting for a runner in the half marathon can spot their runner midway through the race at Harbins Park and again at Tribble Mill Park. Spectators waiting for runners in the 10k can spot their runner roughly .4 from the finish line, just across the metal bridge. They will be just over 4 miles into their race.

  • Participants may not accept aid outside of the water stations

  • Participants may not cut the course, take shortcuts, or cheat in any way

  • Please be kind to all volunteers! They are here at the event selflessly to make sure you reach your personal goals! Thank them for their time and effort!

  • DO NOT LITTER!!!!

  • Runners who do not complete the distance they signed up for within the allotted time will not be credited with an official finish. If runners continue on the course beyond cutoffs, they do so at their own risk and without assistance or recognition from the race

  • If you need to drop from the race, please let a race official know so we don't go looking for you!

  • IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN EMERGENCY, DIAL 911!!
